We are proud and delighted to announce that Stephen Butler, a graduate of Modern History and Literature (HC’s predecessor program), has published Irish Writers in the Irish American Press, 1882-1964 with the University of Massachusetts Press.  His book examines the complicated relationship between well-known Irish authors—James Joyce, W.B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, as well as, others— and their transatlantic relationship with Irish Americans. More information.
